Sheena Halili renews contract with GMA Network

Kapuso actress Sheena Halili has renewed her contract with GMA Network.

Sheena signed the contract with GMA Network executives on Thursday.

"Masaya ako, ramdam na ramdam ko na mahal ako [ng GMA]," Sheena said.

The 30-year-old noted that half of her life has now been dedicated to her home network.

"Kalahating Sheena na, kalahating ako na. Dito ako nag-start. Sixteen ako noon. Fourteen years na ako sa GMA," she said.

"Ang dami ko nang napagdaanan. Family ko na 'yung GMA," she added.

Despite more than a decade in the industry, the actress is still determined to grow in her career.

For her future projects, she is eyeing less feminine and more antagonistic roles.

"Gusto ko matutunan 'yung medyo maging boyish 'yung kilos. Gusto ko ring kontrabida, hindi 'yung sosyal, Gusto ko 'yung kontrabidang palengkera, 'yung nang-aasar," she said.

Sheena will star at the upcoming Kapuso teleserye "Destined to Be Yours" alongside the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. —KG, GMA News
