5. He knows how to take care of himself 

While he is doing an awesome job taking care of his wife and daughter, we like that Dingdong also knows how to take care of himself. The actor manages to lead an active and healthy lifestyle, doing crossfit exercises with Marian, joining triathlons, not to mention bike rides, too.

6.  He cares for the environment

We love us a guy driven by a noble cause and Dingdong is exactly that. Remember when he flew to Paris for a climate conference and delivered an impassioned speech to protect the environment? He is behind the advocacy group Yes Pinoy, empowering youth, taking a stance on the environment, and believing in the Philippines.

 At the moment, he hosts "Amazing Earth" an infotainment show on GMA-7 which aligns with his own personal advocacy to protect the planet for the future generation.

7. He is a talented actor

Apart from non-stop projects, Dingdong has also been winning awards left and right. 

 

Last December 28, @jcdgonz received this trophy on my behalf. He also delivered a message which i want to share with you. Here goes.... “Magandang gabi po. Kasalukuyang nasa Mindanao po ako ngayon kasama ng aking mag-ina at buong pamilya para sa isang maiksing bakasyon. Ako po ay isa sa milyong-milyong tagahanga ni Fernando Poe, Jr. Sayang nga lang at hindi ko na siya nakita o nakilala nang personal. In my 19 years of being in this industry, he has always been one persona who guides me in making decisions throughout my career. Having known his body of work, and more so his character behind camera— he truly is the one and only KING of Philippine cinema. I am humbled and grateful to receive this recognition which i highly dedicate to my wife, and my daughter Letizia. I also want to share this award to all the men and women whom i have worked with— those who tirelessly dedicate their talent to earn a living for their respective families— from the crew, stunt men, cameramen, creatives, technicals, Production designers, musical directors, art directors, directors, staff, co-actors, and producers. Without one of these talents, none of the beautiful content that we now enjoy and appreciate would have come to life. FPJ, i believe, was present in all these tasks. He valued people more than just doing his job. He believed in inclusivity, fairness, charity, love for country, and most of all— dedication to his family.
