Kris Aquino confirms attendance to the Hollywood premiere of 'Crazy Rich Asians'


Queen of All Media Kris Aquino confirmed her attendance to the Hollywood premiere of "Crazy Rich Asians" on August 7. 

Kris, who plays the role of an Asian princess, shared the news in an Instagram post on Thursday, saying that despite still needing to recover from a severe allergic reaction in Indonesia, the "tigas ulo/bawal sumuko/kakayanin lahat" in her made sure she will be present at the event.

"P.S. The “tigas ulo/bawal sumuko/kakayanin lahat” in me hindi nagpatinag. Nagawan po ng paraan- lilipad kasama ng mga anak, our team, and my doctor to walk the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of the ground breaking, all Asian cast movie @crazyrichasians from @wbpictures... "

She said she wouldn't allow Pinoys to not be represented at the premiere of a movie that highlights Asian culture.

"I couldn’t allow that we PINOYS wouldn’t be represented- hangarin ng puso ko na mabitbit ang bandila in a movie highlighting Asian Culture. YES, let us always remember & uphold: WE FILIPINOS ARE WORLD CLASS," a portion of her caption read.
