Alden Richards thankful to fans who threw him a 'Victor Magtanggol' viewing party

Hundreds of Alden Richards' fans gathered for a viewing party of Victor Magtanggol's pilot episode on Monday night.

The Kapuso star himself was present at the Le Reve events place in Quezon City, to be with his fans and see  their initial reactions of his latest project.

"Nakakatuwa na sabay-sabay silang nahuhumaling sa storya ng Victor Magtanggol. Sana tuloy-tuloy lang po yan at marami pa po silang aabangan sa susunod na episodes," Alden told GMA News.

It was his first viewing party experience, and Alden said he couldn't be more thankful to his supporters, who actually organized the socials.

"Sa kanila ko 'to, the gratefulness is for them. Kaya 'to naging successful because of them. Actually wala akong effort dito talaga. Ang effort ko lang eh pumunta, to make myself present. Sila talaga nag-organize, sobrang thankful ako. First time nangyari  sa 'kin na nagkaron ng viewing party for the soap," he said.

Apart from his fans, his friends in the showbiz industry expressed their support through tweets and Instagram posts.

An hour before the pilot episode, the other half of the AlDub loveteam — Maine Mendoza — tweeted her support for Alden.
