New Kapuso artists Mavy and Cassy Legaspi want a show with parents Zoren and Carmina

Now that the entire Legaspi family are Kapuso, there are fresh opportunities for them to work on shows together.

This is what twins Mavy and Cassy, the newest Kapuso artists, are hoping for.

“Of course I want to work with my parents, instead of commercials, maybe shows. I want to see how that would look like,” Cassy said during an interview during their contract signing with GMA Network on Tuesday.

The twins only previously worked on commercials with with their parents, celebrity couple Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel.

Mavy said that he has always thought about starring in a show with them.

“Definitely I would want to work with my parents,” Mavy said. “They’ve been a big inspiration in my life and I’ve always thought about it, being in a show with them."

The two are also attracted to the idea of starring in romantic comedies and sitcoms.

Cassy said that she would also love to work with her idol, Kapuso star Julie Ann San Jose.

She said that she thinks the singer is “very talented.”

“I’ve looked up to her since before because she’s very talented, especially her singing, and just all around. I love her so much,” she gushed.

Mavy said that he hopes to start with light shows first and see how that works out.

“Light dramas, light sitcoms, and maybe some romcom, and from there we’ll just see where it goes,” he said.

“I’m really excited to grow as a person, as an individual, as an actor here,” he added. — LA, GMA News
