Kapuso stars shine at the 2018 Eddys

Kapuso stars shone in glamorous gowns and smart suits at the 2018 Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards aka The Eddys on Monday evening.

Sanya Lopez was among the Best Dressed of the night, while Kapag Nahati Ang Puso star David Licauco was given the Male Star of the Night award. Andrea Torres was named the Female Star of the Night.

Therese Malvar  meanwhile bagged the "Best Supporting Actress" for Ilawod.

Rhian Ramos hosted the Eddy Awards red carpet with Tim Yap.

Other Kapuso stars including  Shaira Diaz, , Rocco Nacino and Gil Cuerva were also present at the event.

Respeto took home the Best Film award, while Birdshot took home Best Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Musical Score, and Best Sound Design awards.  

The Best Actor Award went to Aga Mulach for his performance in Seven Sundays, while it was a triple tie for Best Supporting Actress: Angeli Bayan for Maestra, Chai Fonacier for Respeto, and Therese Malvar for Ilawod. 

The Best Screenplay went to Deadma Walking.
