Why Glaiza De Castro didn't join Sang'gres on Lip Sync Battle PHL
It was a Sang'gre reunion this past weekend on Lip Sync Battle Philippines, with Kylie Padilla returning to television for performances with Gabbi Garcia and Sanya Lopez.
Notably missing from the cast was Glaiza de Castro, who played the iconic Sang'gre Pirena in this decade's Encantadia.

At the launch of shoe brand Butterfly Twists on Wednesday, Glaiza explained why she wasn't able to join.
"Actually dapat andun ako, dapat kasama nila ako mag-perform dun, kaso with Contessa parang sabi ko wala pa akong maisip na concept, ayoko naman na parang magbigay ako ng half-baked performance," she said.
Despite being unable to come to their reunion, she's confident it won't be the last time the Sang'gres will share the stage.
"Tina-tag ako nina Gabbi, sinasabi ko na lang hindi pa naman magtatapos 'yon dun, 'yong Lip Sync Battle isa 'yon sa reminding everyone na OK pa rin kami, intact pa rin kami, solid pa rin kaming mga Sang'gre, and may possibility na magsama pa rin kami," she said.
She also joked her absence isn't so out of character for Pirena.
"Though it would be nice to see them, to bond with them, to perform with them, 'yon na nga eh parang sinasabi nila kulang na lang ng isa, sabi ko alam n'yo naman si Pirena minsan may topak 'yan... very jokingly ko sinabi 'yon," Glaiza said. —JST, GMA News
