Kris Aquino shares a photo of a memorable moment she had with QC Mayor Herbert Bautista in Assisi

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino was only going through her phone when it showed her some nice photos from 2017.

Kris shared one, where she had a candid moment with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, photobombing her outside of the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi, one of their stops as they toured the many churches and chapels in .

The photo was taken during their church and chapel visits in Assisi and Rome with Mayor Herbert and his friends.

"If you check your phone (i’m not sure if it’s the same for Android ones) BUT for iPhone photos, there will be MEMORIES, and “ON THIS DAY” will show pics for that day from your cloud. This picture was there last night, i was photobombed outside of the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi," Kris wrote on Instagram.

Kris explained the reason why she chose to share that specific memory of them.

"I’m sharing this picture now because Mayor Herbert & i have a weird & special friendship & this 1 picture represents to me perfectly who & what we are to each other," she wrote.

She said, Mayor Herbert even took that free day from 2017's peace talks to grant her wish to pray in as many Churches as possible.

Things may have not worked out for them, but the two have kept in touch and remained good friends.

She said he recently texted Mayor Herbert to express gratitude for praying with her as she bid goodbye to her previous career.

"I texted him last night to share good news about new endorsements. And I THANKED HIM- because he prayed w/ me when my 1 prayer was to just be given a chance to say goodbye properly to a career i loved passionately & for God to heal me w/ the gift of becoming OKAY again," she said.

Despite ending their relationship which started in 2014, the two kept in touch and remained as good friends. — LA, GMA News
