Meet the heroes and villains of ‘Super Ma'am’

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera-Dantes headlines the latest GMA telefantasya series "Super Ma'am."

Marian will be giving life to Minerva Henerala, a high school teacher who transforms into the powerful "Super Ma'am." She'll be fighting the "Tamawo", mythical winged creatures that abduct children and feed on their youthful energy. 

Matthias Rhoads plays Trevor Jones, Minerva's leading man.

Kim Domingo assumes the role of Minerva's missing sister, who was raised by a Tamawo.

Veteran actress Helen Gamboa joins the cast as Lolita Honorio, Minerva's grandmother. Al Tantay and Julius Miguel take on the role of Minerva's father and brother.

Carmina Villarroel will appear in the series as Ceres, the great Tagachu, keeper of the "Buntot Pagi". The mystical item holds the power to transform Minerva into a Tamawo-slayer. 

Dina Bonnevie and AiAi delas Alas will play special roles in the series. 

The Tamawo team will be played by Kapuso stars Joyce Ching, Kristoffer Martin, Kevin Santos, Isabelle de Leon, Andrew Gan, and Jackie Lou Blanco.

Adding a dash of color to the series are Jillian Ward, Enrico Cuenca, Ash Ortega, Marika Sasaki, Vincent Magbanua, Ralph Noriega, Meg Imperial and Shyr Valdez.

"Super Ma'am" is directed by LA Madridejos.
