Blakdyak's wife in shock over husband's death

The wife of Blakdyak, Joey Formaran in real life, expressed shock over the death of the singer-comedian on Monday.

Twinkle Estanislao-Formaran said the singer behind hits such as "Modelong Charing" and "Good Boy" was supposed to come to work when he was found dead by his son at around 6 p.m. at his rented room in Sampaloc, Maynila.

"Dapat may gig siya tonight. Tumawag ang anak ko. Hindi ako makapaniwala na wala na siya," she said in a report by Radio dzBB's James Agustin.

His son found him in the room naked with a plastic bag wrapped around his head. He was last seen alive at around 2:30 a.m.

According to a report by Mav Gonzales on "State of the Nation," a guard followed Blakdyak up to the rooftop of the building at around 11 p.m. The singer reportedly went back to his room afterwards.

Police said they were not considering foul play in the incident, because the room was locked when Blakdyak was found.

Twinkle described her husband as a sweet man. "Wala kaming problema mag-asawa. Napaka-sweet niya. Ayaw niya na umiiyak at namomoblema ako," she said. —JST, GMA News
