Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza’s faces make mark on Nueva Ecija rice field

The phenomenal love team AlDub has made its mark on Nueva Ecija—literally on its landscape.

The faces of Kalyeserye stars Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards are now imprinted on a rice field in Science City of Muñoz.

"AlDub Rice" is also spelled out on the field, where both traditional and new rice varieties are planted.

The design is a project of the FutureRice Program, which aims to prepare rice farmers for future agriculture scenarios.

In its Facebook page, FutureRice posted photos of the paddy, which was an instant attraction for both residents and farmers in Muñoz City.
