Inday almost stationary, to bring rains in most of Luzon
Tropical Storm was estimated at 840 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph and is almost stationary, PAGASA reported early Thursday morning.
With Inday, the state weather bureau reported that the southwest monsoon will continue to affect Luzon.
Monsoon rains are expected in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bataan, Zambales, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands brought about by the southwest monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have occasional rains also due to the southwest monsoon.
The Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
In all these areas, PAGASA warned residents to be on the look out for possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Coastal water conditions in central Luzon and the rest of the eastern section of northern Luzon will be rough to very rough for the rest of Luzon moderate to rough and very moderate to rough and moderate for the Visayas and Mindanao. — BAP, GMA News
