WATCH: Harlem Globetrotters teach Pope Francis basketball tricks
Pope Francis is known to be a sports fanatic, but his competition of choice is usually football.
But the Pontiff showed he could learn new tricks when he hosted the Harlem Globetrotters, who made him an honorary member of the team with his own jersey.
The Pope also gamely tried to spin a basketball on his finger, one of the tricks that have made the barnstorming Globetrotters so popular around the world.
No word, however, on whether the Washington Generals would get a papal audience anytime soon. -- JST, GMA News
