Stamps commemorating the visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines are becoming a hit among philatelists or stamp collectors.

The designs of the Pope showing emotion and his soft spot for children are particularly proving popular, GMA Cebu's Nikko Sereno reported Monday.

Among the more popular designs are those showing the Pope with a Philippine flag as background, the Pope showing his love for children, and the Pope embracing Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.

Last Jan. 8, PHLPost issued the stamps selling at P10 each.

Pope Francis visited the Philippines from Jan. 15 to 19, touching the lives of many Filipinos. He left for Rome Monday morning.
