Filipinos have gathered along the route of the Pope's last motorcade hours before his flight, but some chose to bid the Holy Father goodbye online with their tweets tagged #BlessedByThePope.

Most thanked the Pope for his visit and wished him well on his flight back to Rome. Others shared how they were touched by the Pontiff's words of wisdom.
