Passengers forced to walk to NAIA 3 due to papal departure arrangements
Several passengers with flights to catch at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport were forced to walk a distance after roads leading there were closed due to the departure of Pope Francis.
Pope Francis is to head for Villamor Air Base to leave for Rome before noon aboard a chartered Philippine Airlines flight.
A photo posted radio dzBB's Nimfa Ravelo showed some passengers walking along the road leading to NAIA-3, pulling along their luggage.
Others jointly carried heavy bags while walking toward the terminal.
