The family of Estelita Alivia brought pizza rolls and chips.
"Nagluto ako kagabi para may baon kami ngayon," she said.
According to Alivia, their attendance to the papal event also serves as a bonding moment between her and her four sons.
"Sa Fairview kami galing. Mga 1:30 a.m. nasa labas na kami, naghihintay," she said, noting that they were able to enter UST at 5:30 a.m.

Other families brought hard-boiled eggs, bread, and sandwiches for their snack.
Meanwhile, other Filipino devotees chose to sleep while waiting for the Pope.
Some brought mats, sacks, or cartons so they could sit or sleep on them.
