Jobs open for nurses, skilled workers, hotel workers who want to work in US, Malaysia, Middle East
More than a thousand jobs have opened for Filipinos who want to work in the United States, Malaysia, and the Middle East.
Ruru Global Recruitment Services is in need of 1,000 skilled workers to be deployed to the Middle East, according to a report by Sandra Aguinaldo on Unang Balita Wednesday.
Also, 150 nurses are also open in the US, with an offered salary of $24.50 or almost P1,300 per hour, plus benefits.
Janessa Medina-Bacolod, senior vice president of Ruru Global Recruitment Services Inc., said that application is free.
“Libre ito. Walang placement fee, no processing fee... Immigrant visa ang gagamitin. Yung ibang nurse natin na pinaalis, they were able to bring their husband and anak,” she said.
Applicants should be licensed nurses with at least a two-year experience in a 100-bed hospital.
According to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, Filipino nurses are still in demand abroad because of their excellence in the job and care for their patients.
Ruru Global also has a job order for 94 hotel workers in Malaysia. A job opening for nurses will also soon open in Japan, with recruiters shouldering expenses for Nihongo courses.
Hotel workers can received a basic monthly salary of P76,000 with an allowance of more than P9,000, according to Medina-Bacolod said.
The POEA and the Department of Labor and Employment warned applicants against illegal recruiters and reminded them to check the list of licensed recruitment agencies on the POEA’s website. — Joviland Rita/MDM, GMA News
