Stray bullet hits home in Misamis Oriental during New Year revelry
A stray bullet pierced through a home in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental as its occupants were celebrating the New Year, early Monday.
Brenmark Enriquez, one of the owners of the house in Purok 2B, Barangay Casinglot, said the stray bullet hit their home at past 12 midnight.
Enriquez said they were partying inside their house when they though they heard a rock fell on their roof.
When they checked, they saw a hole in the ceiling and when they inspected their living room they recovered a bullet.
No one was hurt.
Enriquez said they will bring the bullet at the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station this morning to seek an investigation to identify its owner.
A 10-year-old boy in Caloocan City is the only reported stray bullet victim so far during the New Year's Eve revelry.
Radio reports said at least 46 people were also hurt by firecrackers during the revelry. —report from Peewee Bacuño/ALG, GMA News
