Pacific Online, PCSO extend lottery equipment lease deal

Pacific Online Systems Corp. (LOTO) will continue to provide the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) with lottery equipment for at least another year, the publicly-listed company said Wednesday.

In a regulatory filing submitted by LOTO assistant corporate secretary Jason Nalupta, the company said it has agreed to extend the validity of its leasing arrangement with PCSO.

“Please be advised that LOTO and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office have agreed to extend the term of their Equipment Lease Agreement by one year from August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019,” the filing read.

GMA News Online has reached out to the PCSO for more details on the matter, but no response has been received as of this posting.

LOTO is in the business of developing and managing online computer systems, terminals, and software related to gaming.

“It provides technical and market expertise for the distribution of lottery products in the country in partnership with the state-run Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office,” according to LOTO’s corporate profile.

LOTO counts as subsidiaries Total Gaming Technologies Inc. and Lucky Circle Corp.  Total Gaming is the nationwide operator of Keno (Lotto Express), while Lucky Circle operates PCSO retail lotto outlets nationwide.  —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/GMA News
