Bangko Sentral now looking into BDO's potentially compromised ATMs

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is now monitoring the situation involving potentially compromised automated teller machines (ATMs) of BDO Unibank Inc.

Incoming central bank Governor Nestor Espenilla Jr. said Friday the BSP is trying to determine what is happening to get an idea of what the problem is.

"I'm looking into it already," Espenilla told GMA News Online. Espenilla said he will issue a statement "once I know better what's the problem." 

According to BDO, it has obtained reports of potentially compromised ATMs supposedly involving losses from cardholders. — VDS, GMA News
