In the Best Resort Hotels of Southeast Asia Category, only one Filipino hotel made it to the Top 10.
With a score of 94.04, Discovery Shores Boracay landed in the Top 7 of the list dominated by Thailand properties.
Explains T+ L in its website, “Hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. Properties were classified as City or Resort based on their locations and amenities.”
Located in the quiet Station 1 of Boracay's White Beach, Discovery Shores only has 88 suites spread across five types of accommodation; the junior suite is its entry level room type.
It has two dining options —Sands Restaurant and Indigo Restaurant — a bar and a happy hour service they like to call Platitos. The Terra Wellness spa is also something to be experienced.
Discovery Shores is actually celebrating its 10th anniversary with a Book and Buy promo; a night at the junior suite is down to P10,500 only. — LA, GMA News
