Rachel Peters slays in a two-piece bikini at the Miss Universe coronation night

After revealing the Final 16, the 66th Miss Universe coronation night proceeded with the swimsuit competition.

At the most-anticipated part of the event, Philippines' Rachel Peters did not fail her countrymen and fans as she showed off her pageant-ready bikini body during her infinity walk.

The Miss Universe Organization implemented new mechanics for the coronation event. Sixteen finals were selected according to geography. Four candidates from The Americas (North America, Central America, South America, Caribbean), four candidates from Europe, four candidates from Asia, Africa, and the Oceania, and four wild card.

Peters was the first contestant called as a wild card.
