Steal the simplest parts of Solenn's workout routine for ‘Alyas Robin Hood’
Kapuso star Solenn Heussaff is not just sexy, she's downright fit. Anyone suffering the effects of sedentary life envies her nimble ways.
In a "Balitanghali" report on Wednesday, she revealed that she actually performs most of the stunts in her fight scenes in "Encantadia," which is helping her prepare for her role in the upcoming "Alyas Robin Hood."
"'Yong mga twirls sa likod ng mga stuntmen, ako rin yan, 'yong mga cartwheels ako rin 'yan. So it's gonna be a good continuation at baka mas maganda pa 'yong mga moves ko dito kasi may training ako for one year with 'Enca,'" she shared.
The secret to her strong form? Dedication.
Solenn revealed that she goes to the gym every day. "Tapos may app din ako sa phone na pang-abs, -arms, and -legs," Solenn she added.
As though those weren't enough, Solenn said, "on the side naman, I do biking, tapos boxing, (at) parang Pilates [of exercise] na type pero mas intense."
For additional inspiration, Solenn has posted her workout video on her personal blog.
In it, she demonstrates three exercises: bicycle crunches, backward lunges plus squats (left and right), and seated hip thrusts.
"If it gets tiring, don’t worry, because you can take a 1 minute break between each exercise. Do 3 rounds of everything, which will take about 15 minutes. Quick lang, right?" Solenn said.
Living up to her #fitspiration tag, Solenn finds ways to illustrate that there's always time to stay limber.
