Long lines greet Jollibee opening in Italy
Can we hear you say buongiorno!
If the photos on social media are to be believed, long lines that went around the block greeted the opening of the first Jollibee location in Europe.
On March 18, Jollibee Italia opened in Milan, where Filipinos from as far as Austria feasted on Chickenjoy, Yumburgers, and — is that palabok or the famous sweet spaghetti?
On Facebook, Jollibee Italia raved about Odessa, who visited the story twice in one day. “Our first customer for the day also happens to be our last! Odessa loved the #1stJollibeeinEurope so much, she came back a second time with her family.”
In the comments section, Filipinos clamored for more. Apart from requesting for more Jollibee branches across Europe, they hoped for more of their Jollibee faves: "Sana magkaroon ng tuna pie, chocomallows at peach/mango pie at rockyroad sundae twirl,” went one comment.
Jollibee, of course, acknowledged. — LA, GMA News
