'Like St. Joseph to Mama Mary': Mariz Umali's birthday message for Raffy Tima will melt your heart

Mariz Umali posted a heartfelt birthday greeting to her husband Raffy Tima in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Mariz revealed that when she was still single, she had sought the intercession of Saint Joseph to grant her a good husband in the future. Her prayers, she said, were answered when she fell in love with Raffy.

"Through his intercession, the Lord has blessed me with the BEST husband one could ever ask for. Like St. Joseph to Mama Mary, @raffytima has always been very loving, caring, supportive, understanding and forgiving," Mariz wrote.

She also apologized for posting the greeting a day late because she was very tired on Tuesday afternoon. Nevertheless, she thanked her husband for being very understanding.

Raffy and Mariz both work as TV reporters and anchors at GMA-7.
