Catriona Gray makes it to the Top 10 of Miss Universe

From 20 semi-finalists, the Miss Universe competition is now down to 10 candidates, and Philippine bet Catriona Gray is in! 

In her opening statement, Catriona shared how it isn't poverty killing Filipino children's dreams. "It's lack of support. A child once told me, 'Cat, that's just not my life. Those dreams are not meant for me.' I stand here today because someone believed in me, and we owe it to our children to believe in them."

Among the panel judges for the 67th Miss Universe competition are Bui Simon, Michelle McLean, Iman Oubou, Janaye Ingram, Richelle Singson-Michael, Monique Lhuillier, Lili Valletta.

Catriona hopes to be fourth Filipina to be hailed as Miss Universe queen after Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Gloria Diaz (1969) and Margarita Moran (1973).
