Miss International 2013 Bea Santiago speaks up about sexual harassment, details her unfortunate experiences

On Facebook Sunday, Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago spoke up about sexual harassment, sharing her very own experiences.

"Sexual Harassment IS REAL. NOT JUST IN PAGEANTS BUT EVERYWHERE!" Bea began, before disclosing various unfortunate experiences: how a priest molested her when she was a child, how a a 21-year-old male pageant winner came onto her when she was only 12 years old, how an executive of a big company sexually harassed her.

Bea's revelations came in the heels of sexual harassment allegations in the recently concluded Miss Earth pageant, where three contestants alleged a sponsor to harass them.

In her post, Bea recalled she was inappropriately touched by the businessman and how the next time she saw him, she was already a candidate for a pageant. While they were kept safe by the organizers, Bea said the businessman continued to talk "nonsense to us."

The former beauty queen shared a few more unfortunate experiences before ending her note, saying she feels guilty for not standing up for herself or filing complaints.

"I guess speaking up now will help the future Queens. I am honestly really scared to speak up. I hope I wont regret this."
