Miss World Philippines 2017 candidates officially announced

Aspiring beauty queens take one step closer to their dream. The Miss World Philippines organization on Saturday held the final screening for this year's pageant and the official list of candidates is out.

The road to the crown starts today for these 35 gorgeous women:

Aside from the Miss World Philippines title, the organization will also be awarding Miss ECO Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, and Miss Multinational.

New pre-pageant activities that will serve as a ‘fast-track’ for candidates has also been introduced, namely Brand Fashion Show; Charity Gala Night; Sports Challenge; Beach Beauty; and Charity Day.

The Miss World Philippines 2017 coronation night will be held on September 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena and will be telecast on GMA Network on the same night. — AT, GMA News
