‘Star Wars’ releases touching tribute video for Carrie Fisher

A tribute to the woman at the heart of the rebellion completed the 40th anniversary celebration of the Star Wars franchise.

The official Star Wars twitter account on Thursday shared a compilation of clips showing the greatness of actress Carrie Fisher, chronicling her growth from a 19-year-old revolutionary to a revered leader in the resistance.

"I am Princess Leia and Princess Leia is me. It's like a Möbius striptease" Fisher is quoted saying in the video.

The behind-the-scenes footage shows the glow the actress brought with her always and the trademark humor she never hesitated to share with people.

Fisher passed away in December 2016, days after being hospitalized after a heart attack. — AT, GMA News
