Pinoys #RiseUpTogether at 2018 Pride March and Festival
Attendees of the 2018 Pride March were nothing but gleeful as they splash color in the streets of Marikina City on Saturday.
More than 20,000 people were estimated to have attended the festivities.
Despite the smattering of rain, Pride protesters were in high spirits, chanting “After the rain, there is always a rainbow.”

Members of the LGBTQIA+ community, their supporters and allies assembled at the Marikina Sports Complex as early as noontime, decked in the colors of the rainbow and waving rainbow flags.

Student organizations, companies, couples, and even militant groups took part in the march.
With the theme “Rise Up Together” in mind, they later took to the streets to celebrate their community and march for equality.
