An artist from Cavite wows netizens with his makeup transformations as Disney princesses and princes

JM Mirabel is a 21-year-old artist from Cavite, who wowed netizens when he transformed himself as Disney princesses and princes through makeup and improvised costumes.

A report on 24 Oras on Saturday said JM was a portrait artist, who wanted to use his face as a new art canvas.

"Before kasi, parang gumagawa ako ng mga portrait. Ngayon parang na-apply ko siya sa mukha, sa sarili ko, parang 'yong face ko naman ginawa kong canvas," JM told GMA News.

The report said JM starts with the base of his whole makeup look. First, he puts on a primer, then he fills his eyebrows, blends the foundation and concealer before putting in details that make him appear more like the characters he's trying to achieve.

JM has already transformed himself into Princess Jasmine and Aladdin, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Princess Ariel and Prince Eric, Princess Aurora, Cinderella, among others.

He uses old t-shirts and Christmas decorations to be able to copy the costumes of the characters he looks to transforming himself into.

For Cinderella's blue dress, for instance, he used an old curtain. For Pocahontas, JM used a placemat for the dress and a Christmas ball sliced in half for the necklace. For Aladdin's hat, a pair of boxing gloves did the job.

"Hanap lang kayo ng t-shirt tapos dikitan niyo lang ng christmas decorations tulad nito, dikitan niyo lang ng glue stick, tapos gawin niyong sexy, lagyan niyo ng perdible," he said.

"Never akong gumastos pagdating sa costume so kailangan 'yong creativity mo dapat resourceful ka tsaka dapat tignan mo 'yong loob ng bahay niyo  kung ano 'yong mga puwedeng galawin, pakielaman," he added.
