Ricci Rivero apologizes for shouting at fan in viral video
College basketball star Ricci Rivero has apologized for shouting at a female fan who had asked for a selfie after a game.
The Gilas Pilipinas cadet took to Twitter to address the incident, which was caught on video that has since gone viral.
"I had a bad game, it was a frustrating loss. This was my first game out of and against La Salle," said Rivero.

The incident happened after Gilas' defeat to De La Salle University in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Cup last April 27. The video showed a couple of women following Rivero to the locker room area, after which he was heard shouting expletives at one of them.
"Dugouts are our only private place to pour our emotions seconds after an important game, 'twas just the most inappropriate time and place for a selfie," wrote Rivero, who left the Green Archers basketball squad earlier this year and has since signed on with University of the Philippines.
"To the girl in the video and to all that are affected and are disappointed, I am a work in progress and I sincere apologize for my imperfections," he added. —JST, GMA News
