Alibaba founder Jack Ma channels Michael Jackson at annual conference gala
At his company’s annual conference gala — which also happens to be the company’s 18th birthday party — Alibaba founder and chairman, Jack Ma channeled Dangerous-era Michael Jackson — military-esque costume, a silver glove, hip thrusts and all — and danced to the 1993 hit “Black and White”.
He arrived on stage, riding a motorcycle and wearing a mask. And upon removing it, surprised his very many employees.
It was all good fun, if a little awkward, except — no moonwalk?
No matter, the stint was extremely unexpected it trended on social media early Wednesday.
Jack Ma is the famous Chinese entrepreneur who runs Alibaba, an e-commerce website akin to Amazon.
This isn’t Jack’s first time on stage. According to CNBC, he performed Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” while dressed as a heavy metal rock star back in 2009. — LA, GMA News
