Should Tim Cone coach Gilas? He responds: 'Chot Reyes is the right guy'
San Mig Coffee Mixers coach Tim Cone stood firm with his support for Chot Reyes as the coach of Gilas Pilipinas despite receiving requests to call the shots for the national team online.
Cone, who steered the centennial team to a bronze medal finish in the 1998 Asian Games, turned to twitter to address the requests of Gilas fans.

Following Gilas Pilipinas' struggles in the Asian Games, Reyes has come under fire from disappointed fans online.
The uproar reached its peak when Reyes launched a tirade to naturalized center Marcus Douthit after the Qatar match, which the team lost 77-68.
Gilas fans came to Douthit's defense and some even called for Reyes' resignation as the coach of the national team, asking Cone to coach Gilas instead. — JST, GMA News
