David Licauco reveals why he's still single after breakup with Kapamilya actress
Kapuso chinito actor David Licauco shared that despite his cool exterior, he’s had his fair share of heartbreak. During the presscon of his upcoming Kapuso daytime drama, Kapag Nahati Ang Puso, he admitted that he was in a relationship with a Kapamilya actress.
He shared, “Taga-ABS siya. It’s hard. May love team. At the time, hindi pa ako artista, hindi pa marunong i-handle. Pero siguro now, okay lang," David said.
On a lighter note, David said his heartbreak can actually be useful for his upcoming drama role. “I play the role of Zach Yee, vlogger, mayaman, sophisticated, sosyal. Siya ‘yung magiging best friend ni Bea Binene rito. Si Bea rito may problem siya kasi parang insecure siya, so I’ll be the one to guide her and improve her upbringing and all. Hanggang sa nagkasakit ako and eventually mai-in love ako kay Bea.
“Good boy kasi talaga ako, pero ‘yung mukha ko para lang talagang playboy pero na-heartbroken naman na ako before. So puwede ko siguro balikan ‘yung moment na ‘yun and work on that.”
Is he planning to date again now that he’s single?
“Single ako ngayon kasi mas priority ko muna ‘yung work, career muna siguro.”
He also revealed his ligaw-style, and how he would try to get a girl’s heart in real life should he date again. “In real life, siyempre effort for girls naman ‘yun naman talaga gusto nila, and time. Ang pakita ‘yung intensions, clear and gusto mo siyang seryosohin.”
