WATCH: Gil Cuerva, aminado na may isinakripisyo nang mapasama sa 'My Love From The Star'

Inamin ng model-turned-actor na si Gil Cuerva na marami siyang naging adjustments nang mapiling gumanap sa iconic role ni Matteo Do sa Pinoy adaptation ng My Love From The Star.

Aminado ang model-turned-actor na si Gil Cuerva na marami siyang naging adjustments nang mapili itong gumanap sa iconic role ni Matteo Do sa Pinoy adaptation ng My Love From The Star.

Isa na raw dito ang pagbubuhos ng oras para paghusayan ang acting skills niya.

Ayon sa panayam ni Gil sa Star Bites ng Balitanghali ,“Yung biggest adjustment was having to go through all the workshops and having to sacrifice a lot of time. You know study acting at saka i-review ‘yung mga scene, i-study ‘yung character ko all of these things... starting from scratch.”

Nabanggit din ni Gil Cuerva ang advice na ibinigay sa kanya ng co-star sa My Love From The Star na si Christian Bautista.

“Nagkakamali ako pag nagbu-buckle sa lines. I remember one time, Christian [Bautista] talked to me after taping sabi niya it took him a long time to get where he is. So, he was telling me not to be too hard on myself.”

Matindi man ang pressure na mag-deliver siya bilang Matteo Do, iniisip pa rin ng Kapuso heartthrob na malaking blessing ang mapasama sa long-awaited primetime series na ito ng Kapuso Network.

“Sobrang honored ‘yung feeling siyempre si Matteo from My Love From The Star he's a very popular character, ngayon naman ako ‘yung Matteo Do ng Philippines. I guess ‘yun nga it’s a huge honor, huge blessing.”

Ano naman kaya ang masasabi ni Gil sa kapareha niya sa show na si Jennylyn Mercado na gaganap bilang si Steffi?

“Sino ba naman who doesn’t find Jennylyn [Mercado] attractive. Siyempre ako, included much like everybody else. We all find Jennylyn very attractive, very beautiful.”
