Benjamin Alves sees a lot of Kapuso stars with potential to be the next GMA Network Excellence Award Ambassador
For Benjamin, one of the major qualifications is that he/she should be passionate in promoting the award.
It's been two years since Benjamin Alves accepted the post of celebrity ambassador for GMA Network Excellence Award (GNEA) and he's been doing a stellar job.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the actor said that he'd love to do this job for as long as he can.
"I think as long as they'll have me and still finds me useful, I'll be here. I know the time will come that they will have to pick another one but I still want to be involved in it in anyway that I can," Ben said.
Ben then looked back to the time when he first became the GNEA Ambassador and according to him, "When I joined GMA, naghahanap talaga ako ng avenue para gamitin ['yung academic side ko]. When this was presented to me, I said yes right away because it's also a chance for me to explore campuses, see students, and how they are. I've never gone to school here in the Philippines so 'yun 'yung paraan ko para maka-experience ng ganoon."
As for his replacement, who are the stars that Ben thinks can take his position?
According to Ben, "I'm sure by the time I finish being the advocate for GNEA, marami pang mag-ga-graduate. I think Barbie (Forteza) is going back to school and Julie (Anne San Jose) just graduated with very high merits as well. Marami naman! I think far more than 'yung academic requirements, I'm sure that the one they'll pick is very passionate in promoting the award."
