Joyce Pring sings Hillsong UNITED during her #HealingHearts fundraising concert
Kapuso singer and host Joyce Pring went live on Facebook today, April 3, for the #HealingHearts online donation campaign and concert.
#HealingHearts is a series of Facebook Live streams from various GMA Artist Center artists, where they sing inspirational songs to spark hope and encourage people to be more positive and strong during these trying times when COVID-19 is affecting the lives of everyone.
The live concerts also serve as a fundraising campaign to help in Kapuso Foundation's efforts to aid our fellow Filipinos who have no means of livelihood due to the enhanced community quarantine.
During her live stream, Joyce sang the songs "Oceans" and "I Touch The Sky" by the worship band Hillsong UNITED.
She also sang and played her original song, "Baka Sakali," which was a collaboration with the OPM Legend Rico Blanco.
Before she ended her Facebook live video, Joyce left a few parting words to inspire hope among her viewers and urge them to help our frontliners in any way they can.
"Alam ko lahat tayo we're adjusting, we're having a difficult time now because of this crisis but always remember that one, God is sovereign and He is in control. Everything works for the good of those who love Him so we have to hold on to His promises.
"And always remember that our lives do not depend on just this Earth, this is not it, this is a transitionary phase so we always have to look eternally. We have to have an eternal perspective.
"Number two, there are certain things that we don't have power over like this disease, this crisis, but we do have the power to make decisions that will help ourselves and help others. I urge you guys to really find ways to help," she said.
