Catch Klea on the Playlist tomorrow, January 25.

With Klea Pineda’s skillfulness in singing and playing the ukulele, one wouldn’t believe that she hasn’t been musically skilled from the beginning.

In a recent interview with GMANetwork.com, the seventeen-year-old revealed that she studied how to play the music instrument so she will be ready with a talent during her StarStruck stint.

“[Dun lang ako] nag-practice mag-ukulele. Before, hindi talaga. Nag-try lang ako mag-ukulele para kapag may talent portion, may magagawa ako,” she shared.

She also saw it as opportune time to identify her flavor of musicality.

“Nakikinig kinig lang ako. [I like] Colbie Caillat [and gusto ko] 'yung songs niya, 'yung level, medyo mababa [at] hindi bumibirit… Parang bossa nova. Ganun ['yung na-establish ko na] genre ng boses ko,” she added.

Even if she’s relatively a newbie to music, she has learned to enjoy it a lot.

She’s set to perform two songs on the Playlist stage to be released tomorrow, January 25.

“Nung ininvite ako, [sabi ko] go, sige, kahit may ubo ako. Go tayo d'yan, baka mamaya mawala pa…,” she said. Klea bagged the Ultimate Female Survivor title in the most recently concluded StarStruck season.
