Twenty-four hours since it was uploaded, Mikee Quintos’s Playlist performance of Ang Awit Ni Lira hit over 100,000 views.
The song has a special place in Mikee’s heart since it’s a privilege for her to play Lira in the Encantadia 2016 remake.
She couldn’t be happier with how the song has struck a chord among Encantadia fans, making her enjoy singing it all the more.
“May times na naglalakad ako sa sidewalk [tapos] naririnig ko kinakanta nila 'yung [Awit Ni Lira]. As in parang ‘uuuuy, [ang saya]! Na-e-excite ako and sana [na-enjoy] nila 'yung pagkanta ko sa Playlist,” she said.
The clip of Mikee singing the tune on Encantadia has also made waves online with over one million views.
