Nagulat ang online community nang ibahagi ng Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) ang litrato ng 'di umano'y aso na aktuwal na pinatay sa 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry na Oro.

Nasungkit ng Oro ang tatlong titulo sa ginanap na MMFF 2016 awards night tulad ng Best Actress para kay Irma Adlawan, Best Ensemble Cast at Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award.
