Therese Malvar and David Remo ink exclusive contracts with GMA Network
Therese and David are both part of the Afternoon Prime series Oh, My Mama!
Award-winning actress Therese Malvar and child wonder David Remo each signed an exclusive contract with the Kapuso Network recently.
Present in the contract signing were GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, together with their co-managers Ferdy Lapus and Don Remo.
The young artists continuously grow as two of the most promising actors of this generation and GMA Network is proud to have them as its home-grown talents. Therese and David are both part of the Afternoon Prime series Oh, My Mama!
Therese, who made waves in the international scene this year with her stellar performance in numerous independent films, says that she trusts GMA with her career. “Whatever the Lord gives, I will forever be grateful. Lalong-lalo na po sa GMA dahil they believe in my talent. I am excited for the upcoming projects and I trust GMA na whatever they give po sa akin ay makakabuti sa career ko,” shares the Kapuso actress.
At a young age, David has shown not only his prowess as an actor but his passion for the craft as well. He is able to balance school and acting, which makes him even more admirable. “Masaya po ako and thankful sa GMA. Salamat din po sa mga sumusuporta, and sana po panoorin ninyo ang Oh, My Mama,” says the child star.
Meanwhile, Rasonable has nothing but good words for the two young stars. The GMA executive believes in their talent and she discloses that the projects lined up for them will be challenging enough to hone their skills as actors.
“There is no reason why we should not have these very young and talented kids in the Network. We want to be able to work with young talents like them na at a young age ay makikita mo na agad iyong galing nila sa pag-arte. So tayo naman sa Network ay gusto nating mag-develop ng mga ganitong klase ng talent because we are in the business of showing the best,” reveals Rasonable.
