Miss World Philippines continues partnership with GMA Network
For the fourth year in a row, GMA Network will be the broadcast partner of the prestigious, Miss World Philippines pageant.
For the fourth year in a row, GMA Network will be the broadcast partner of the prestigious, Miss World Philippines pageant. This year, Viva will be a partner in producing this most-awaited beauty pageant.
The concerned parties inked the contract last August 23 in GMA Network Center. Present in the signing are CQ Global Quest (CQGQ) Inc. Chairman & CEO Cory Quirino, GMA Program Management First Vice President Jose Mari Abacan, GMA Program Management Assistant Vice President Mitzi Garcia, Viva Assistant Vice President for Events VR del Rosario, and Viva Sales and Production Unit Vice President Jay Montelibano.
“Masayang masaya ang Miss World Philippines dahil meron nang pagbabago sa aming kampo dahil bago na ang aming partner, ang Viva. Alam namin na ang aming pagsasama ay magiging masaya, maayos at maganda. Siyempre, our forever partner is GMA. Kapusong Kapuso ang Miss World Philippines,” Quirino said.
On behalf of the network, Abacan expressed joy for the continuous harmonious relationship of GMA and Miss World Philippines.
“Iba-iba lang ang ka-partner ng CQGQ pero Miss World still remains with GMA… Remember that our first Miss World, Megan Young, nung nanalo siya [sa local pageant, the coronation] was held here in GMA. This year, I hope we get crowned again,” he said.
The coronation night will be held on October 2 at the Manila Hotel.
