Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach has always been vocal of her advocacy on Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) awareness as a beauty queen representing the Philippines where the highest number of cases was recorded this year.

Pia Wurtzbach lights a candle for International AIDS Candlelight Memorial

Queen P aims to address this concern, not only in her home country, but also in the whole world that’s why she was named as HIV Prevention Ambassador by Aid for AIDS.

Halfway through her reign, the Filipina beauty visited Apicha Community Health Center in New York to get herself tested of the virus.
