AlDub recognized as Makabatang Alagad ng Telebisyon in 2015 Anak TV Awards

The Eat Bulaga power tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza was honored in the recently concluded Anak TV Awards for 2015.

The Original Bae of the longest-running noontime show in the country, Bossing Vic Sotto, was also recognized by the award-giving body.

The advocacy group actively pushing for more child-friendly programs on television was impressed with the kalye-serye couple for being role models of today's youth. AlDub was also recognized for promoting the importance of traditional Filipino values through their characters in the kalye-serye.

Maine and Alden were among the celebrities who bagged the award for “Makabatang Alagad ng Telebisyon.”

Pambansang Bae Alden Richards took to Twitter to express his appreciation for the said recognition. In addition, Maine proudly shared a photo of her Anak TV trophy in her Snapchat account.
