How long did it take the 'Beautiful Strangers' star to put 'This is Me, Love Marie' together?

Finally, Heart Evangelista’s 30-year-old secret is out! The Kapuso star revealed everything she learned about makeup and skin care through a beauty book titled 'This is Me, Love Marie' which was launched last November 8.
The Beautiful Strangers star “never imagined in a billion years” that she will come up with a book until she received a call from Summit Media’s Associate Publisher Owen Maddela.
She thought, “I’m turning 17 years in showbiz already, and I think I’ve been through so [many] ups and downs, and that’s all written on my face. I felt like it was the best time for me to share that journey with my fans and even with my bashers [as well as] people who are curious about me.”
It took her team approximately six months to complete the book. The actress mentioned that “it was like writing a diary and giving it away.” She also looks forward to doing a fashion book, “Sana matuloy but it is addicting to come up with something like this.”
The actress shared she started experimenting on makeup and fashion since she took her first role Missy Sandejas in the youth-oriented show Gimik, “I looked like an idiot, but I really loved how I looked that time.”
If there’s one beauty advice she can impart, it’s to "Prolong your youth. You only get it once in your life so the best thing is to invest on skin care. The makeup, kahit ano na lang na bagay sa skin tone mo.”
She also told GMANetwork.com of her beauty mindset, “Feel beautiful and your confidence will go a long way.”
Present at the book launch are her husband Senator Chiz Escudero with twins Joaquin and Cecilia as well as her close friends.
