Rachelle Ann Go bagged the title as Best Supporting Actress in a Musical at the recently concluded WhatsOnStage Awards held at the Prince of Wales Theater in London.

Rachelle Ann Go bagged the title as Best Supporting Actress in a Musical at the recently concluded WhatsOnStage Awards held at the Prince of Wales Theater in London.

The prized Kapuso talent was recognized for her outstanding portrayal as Gigi Van Tranh in the West End revival of Miss Saigon.

Rachelle was still on cloud nine when she wrote on Instagram, “I am still floating :) dream come true again... thank you Lord for this blessing... To everyone who watched Miss Saigon and voted, thank you for appreciating our talent. We sing for you every night and will not get tired of performing. The whole@MissSaigonUK cast is rejoicing!!”

She also dedicated her victory to all her supporters, saying, “To my family who is always there to love and support everything I do, I love you so much and miss you all! To my brother @oz_go for my outfit, you are the best! Everyone's asking about your creation, I'm a proud sister! Thank you again Whats On Stage Awards for this! Yes!!! #iloveShinatics#thesaigondiaryofrachelle.”

Fellow Filipino pride, Jonjon Briones and Fil-Am Eva Noblezada won as Best Actor in a Musical and Best Actress in a Musical, respectively. Kwang-Ho Hong was recognized as the Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. Laurence Connor won for Best Direction, Bob Avian and Geofferey Garratt for Best Choreography and Totie Driver and Matt Kinley for Best Design. Miss Saigon was also hailed as the Best Musical Revival and Best West End Show.
