'Empress Ki' opens its doors on October 20

True to its title Heart of Asia, the Kapuso network brings you the most-awaited Korean period drama of the year. Empress Ki will open its doors on October 20, another epic koreanovela that will keep you glued to your TV screens every night from Mondays to Thursdays. 

 

This period drama will take you on an epic journey with a woman named Seung Nyang who ascended to power despite the prevalent class system during her time.

Follow her uphill climb towards becoming one of history's most prominent women.

 

Korean actress Ha Ji Won will dazzle everyone as she plays the title role. Two men will also fight for her affection. Will she choose Togon Temur played by Ji Chang Wook, the rightful heir to the throne of the Yuan Empire? Or will she yearn for the King of Koryeo, Wang Yu, played by Joo Ji Mo?
