Joyce Pring talks about marriage during quarantine
Joyce Pring shared the importance of her faith in her married life with Juancho Trivino.
According to the new wife, "We are who we are in this marriage, for a reason. Means more ways than just fulfilling our roles in the complementary union God has ordained. It also means, He is able to use us differently because we are two different individuals with varying strengths. It also means God can use us to encourage, strengthen, and exhort one another."
Joyce revealed that as they face life under enhanced community quarantine, Juancho made a sweet surprise. This was after having an argument that blew up.
"We are almost in our 2nd week of self-quarantine, and last night my husband decided to set up a surprise “romantic date” for us after we had an argument about something petty that blew up that morning."
The Kapuso host said that they prayed and discussed what happened as a couple.
"We sat down and prayed, figured out what the root of the issue was, and talked things through."
Joyce added that everything went well after they decided to apologize to one each other.
"He apologized, and I did, too... By God's grace we ended the day with joy in our hearts, reminded that we are nothing without Christ; and encouraged because we'll always have each other to traverse through life with - in sanctification, in rejoicing, in isolation, in all of life's changing seasons, and in pursuit of Jesus."
